our own software.

Capture, retouching, frames and printing — our kiosk software is designed and developed in-house. When trends change, PICDOT changes with them.

  • Fast on trendsNew frames, filters and shooting styles ship on our own schedule, without waiting on an outside vendor.
  • Improved from the floorFeedback from stores and guests goes straight into the next update.
  • Remote updates, every store at onceUpdates reach every store on the same day, no site visit needed — overseas stores included.
  • Built for your local payments and languageWe review coins, bills, QR and card payments for your market and develop accordingly. Screen language and frames are localized too.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I start with a single photo booth?

Yes. Shop-in-shop partners bringing PICDOT into an existing space can start from one all-in-one booth. Franchise partners opening a standalone PICDOT store start from two booths.

How are master franchise rights granted?

We review the partner’s capability, prove the first store and local operations, then expand rights in line with an agreed opening plan. Territory, term and opening targets are agreed after legal review in the target country.

Do I need someone on the ground to run the store?

Yes. Daily operations, customer service and on-site technical support are handled by the local partner. PICDOT HQ provides training and remote support.

Can the language and payment methods be localized?

Yes — localization is the starting point. The screen language is translated, and for payments we review coins, bills, QR and cards — whatever is common in your market — and develop accordingly. This is possible because we build our own software. Timeline and cost for country-specific requirements are shared during discussions.

Who builds and maintains the software?

PICDOT HQ designs and develops it in-house. Updates are pushed remotely to every store, and we can review local adjustments ourselves.

How do shipping, installation and warranty work?

Shipping method, who installs, and warranty scope are set in the contract according to the country and partnership type.
